Music & Entertainment
In order to make your wedding successful you must offer great food and entertainment, otherwise guests will disappear early in the evening. You can choose between live Music and DJ services, but there are pluses and minuses with each. Having a live band, trio or quartet perform at the reception or dance provides great ambiance, but can be expensive.
We suggest you consider the following when researching entertainment options: 1) Is their priced guaranteed? 2) How many hours do they perform (usually 3—5 hours) and what are the times (usually 8:00 pm to 12 midnight)? 3) Will they perform for an extra hour if the guests are having a great time? 4) How much does the extra time cost? 5) How much is the down payment and when is the final payment due? 6) How long has the Band or DJ been in existence? 7) Ask for referrals, and check them out. 8) Attend a dance the band or DJ performs at — If you like them, book them!
