What is all the talk about? “Greetings!…from Debbie” is all about being personal.
The overall philosophy is to provide a professional service, on behalf of our business and professional partners, to new residents or newly engaged couples.
Even though today’s society moves at a much faster pace, since the development and implementation of the Internet’s Super Highway, “Greetings!…from Debbie” still believes that there is a need to be friendly towards one another. Years ago, one’s neighbors met them when they arrived with the moving truck, sometimes sharing coffee/refreshments with them. Today, that practice has seemed to diminish, if not disappeared all together.
Life has become so hectic that there seems to be little time for sharing with others. Many people, if they have met their new neighbors, seem to simply wave to the new comer as they come and go in their busy schedules. Work has placed many more demands on individuals, and any remaining free time is scarcely divided between family activities, personal interests, and sleep.
When new people moved into the community in the past, they learned a lot from their neighbors. Things like “this is the best place to get your groceries,” or “this is where you should get….” were heard commonplace. However, today’s society does not allow this communication to take place. That’s where “Greetings!…from Debbie” comes into play.
Debbie takes over when the community doesn’t seem to communicate as it had in the past. Debbie contacts new individuals, or the newly engaged, and arranges a time when she can personally visit with them. She shares community information with our new residents and assists them in getting involved in the community. With regard to the newly engaged, Debbie provides a variety in tips on planning the perfect wedding.
Overall, there are three (3) separate types of services provided by “Greetings!…from Debbie”. The first is the mainstay of our business, that being professionally greeting and welcoming the new resident to the community. A second aspect of our business includes a “Thank You!” program, and the third is a service that provides tips on planning weddings for newly engaged couples.
