Rehearsal Dinners
Traditionally, the Groom’s family pays for the Rehearsal Dinner. The dinner’s held immediately after the rehearsal of the ceremony, which is usually the night before the wedding. Guests for the Rehearsal Dinner usually include the entire wedding party, their spouses/significant others, the parents, and any guests or close relatives that may have a role in the wedding, i.e.) greeters, readers, etc. Toasts and customs associated with this type of dinner are usually spontaneous. The Rehearsal Dinner is an excellent place for the Bride & Groom to present the wedding party with personal gifts of appreciation.
