Debbie's Wedding Planner

Personal Web Page

Today’s technology has enabled us to instantly communicate with a wide variety of individuals, either one at a time, or collectively. We suggest that you consider developing your own Personal Wedding Web Page to let your friends and family know about your engagement, and your wedding plans. It is a very simple means of getting your information distributed, and best of all — It’s FREE!

We recommend you visit The Knot website at TheKnot.com, and click on “MY Web Page”. It guides you through the process of developing your own personal web page. Even a novice computer user can develop their Web Page. — It’s easy!

The only disadvantage of using this type of communications venue is that not everyone has E-mail services, or you do no have all the E-mail addresses of your friends and relatives.

For those not having E-mail/Internet services, or those you do not have E-mail addresses for, you may want to use a more traditional method for announcing your engagement and proposed wedding. Other options might include a personal phone call, letters, post cards, announcement cards, or word-of-mouth.

A personal web page can give friends and family all the pertinent information needed. They can be introduced early on to your fiancé’, as well as letting them know key information about the wedding date, location, etc., and where you have registered at.

Registry information can be used for bridal showers and the wedding itself.

Your Personal Web Page contains the following information:

  • Bride’s Bio
  • Wedding Info
  • Registry Info
  • Groom’s Bio
  • How the Couple Met
  • Wedding Announcement Info
