What is the Program About?

"Welcome" Service


There are two (2) aspects of this program. The first is community oriented, while the second is geared toward business.

When people move to a new area, they are unfamiliar with the community and need time to get acquainted with it. This process can take time, something each of us has less of these days. A professional greeting service that welcomes people to the community speeds up that process. Debbie provides a very inclusive packet of community information for the newcomers review and future reference. In addition, Debbie highlights a variety of local attractions and organizations. Finally she asks each newcomer if they have any special needs /requests that she could help them with.

This professional and personal service is made possible by the many business and professionals that participate in the program. Without their financial support, this type of personal service would not be possible. Therefore, Debbie spends a great deal of her time reviewing the free business gifts and coupon incentives offered by our partners. Debbie reviews each item given by the businesses, often giving directions to the businesses, or telling a personal experience she has had with a particular business.

Whether it is community information or business information, people tend to remember what they are told, and chances are quite high that when they need to access that community service, or shop at a specific retail/service/professional business they will like take Debbie’s advice.
